Congratulations to SSHS senior, Heather Wilcox. Heather is the winner of a logo design contest in Mrs. Brooke Bagley’s Adobe Design Class.

Dr. Tara Cully, owner of Cully Family Dentistry, approached Mrs. Bagley about the opportunity for her class to design a logo for her dentistry business.

The class met with Dr. Cully and received ideas and the vision for the logo then went to work. According to Dr. Cully, “Nature inspired colors tend to be my favorite, however my office is painted 80's pale blue, and it would be great to have a sign with a complementary color that might work well with the present paint color.”

SSISD appreciates the opportunity to put students to work in authentic practices where they apply the things they are learning in their classes.

Heather was awarded a scholarship from Dr. Cully for having the best design from the class of students and for her hard work. The scholarship will be awarded at graduation.
