Thursday, February 21, 2013 • Posted February 20, 2013

Do you know what is inside your beautiful library, located east of the courthouse? This endowed county facility has books for all ages and on almost all subjects. There are computers that you can use to do your homework or check your email while staying in one of our RV parks or playing in a golf tournament. And of course WiFi is available. There are newspapers and periodicals to read in a quiet, comfortable atmosphere. You can choose paperback books to take home with you and leave some you’ve already read. There is an on going book sale with unbelievable buys. And don’t forget the children’s programs! If you need a great place for your committee meeting, call the library to see if the meeting room is available. Our regular hours are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. And some of our Friends opens the library on most Saturdays.

The Annual Membership Meeting of the Friends of Rylander is scheduled for Monday, February 25, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at the library. He won the 2011 Will Rogers Medallion Award for Best Adult Fiction for this novel A Hundred Miles to Water. His website is www.mikekearby.com

After the speaker, we will elect officers for 2013-2014. The slate as presented by the nominating committee is:
