The big news in this part of the country is the rain this weekend. (and the power outages.. some said their power was off for 12 hours??). We had ½ inch of rain in Bowser Texas over the weekend. It was still gray and cloudy this morning as I drove to work. Here’s hoping a little more rain lands in the rain gauge over the next few days.

In 42 news, the tournament was held in Richland Springs last weekend. First Place went to Micah Shaw and Donna Webb, Second Place to Larry Griffin and Butch Webb, Third Place to Bobby Mask and Phillip Taylor. The next tournament is March 09 in Elm Grove. Don’t forget there is a game every Thursday evening in Elm Grove.

The spring schedule of upcoming events has been printed for school. It is a busy time of year for Track, One-Act Play and Girl’s Softball and many other events!! Come out and support our local kids in these events.

The Elm Grove Community Meeting will be this Saturday, February 16th at 7:30. Come and join us for the meeting.
