Una Mae Hyatt

Una Mae Hyatt, 92, of San Saba passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013, in Brownwood, Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 6:00—8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home. The service will be held at Parkview Baptist Church on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. with interment in San Saba Cemetery. Bro. Curtis Chandler will officiate.

Una Mae Hyatt was born on July 20, 1920, to Walter and Martha Farris in Santa Anna, Texas. She married Roy Hyatt on January 17, 1940 in Santa Anna. They had three sons, Douglas Hyatt, Rodney Hyatt, and Ricky Hyatt.

Una Mae lived most of her life in San Saba where she worked at Harry’s Department Store for 32 years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of Herren Baptist Church which later became Parkview Baptist Church. She volunteered her services at church where she was a member of the WMU, Fellowship of Christian Women, the Shut in Ministry, and Meals on Wheels. Her life was an unwritten book of Christian service.

Survivors include: Doug and Mary Hyatt of Lubbock; Rodney and Yvonne Hyatt of Belton; Ricky and Julie Hyatt of San Angelo; Elvia Hyatt of San Saba; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Roy Hyatt, her parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Pallbearers are; Heath Hyatt, Brandon Tate, Jeremy Tate, Adam Taylor, Zachary Taylor, and Reagan Hyatt.
