DANIEL 9:5 “We have sinned and have committed iniquity and have done wickedly and have rebelled from THY judgements.”

It is great because Daniel was confessing the sins of his people from the viewpoint of GOD. It may cause us to wonder if GOD has a purpose for us in this present life of the flesh. We will do well to think about it, and know GOD can use any person who will try to view life from the viewpoint of GOD. If we truly love GOD and want our life to reflect HIS will of just how HE wants this life to be seen; we will have to view life from HIS viewpoint before it will please HIM and we can know it is what GOD wants to see in each of us. Then if we do consider life from GOD’S viewpoint, we have to hide our pride and fight the doubt that is sure to come.

Our faith cannot grow to a strength we need until we can put the viewpoint of GOD to the top of the list in all our actions. It should be our sincerest prayer that GOD will give us opportunities. But we should never ask for an opportunity to serve GOD in any way unless we are also given the ability to do what GOD wants us to do with that opportunity. So we should look again at how Daniel prayed GOD would forgive the sins of his people; and we will see where GOD answered his prayer, and the people were forgiven and blessed. My friends, we should already know our own people are in great need to realize we need the forgiveness only GOD can give and ask HIM for it. If we see where HE answered Daniel’s prayer to forgive and bless those people, it should give, us a strong desire to see HIM do the same for our sinful people.

And I will add that we are not the Christian people we should be unless we do exactly that and ask GOD to do it. When viewed from GOD’S viewpoint, it dictates a responsibility that all Christians should not only see, but strongly feel, is our responsibility. Do you already feel that?

I hope we will all consider our situation from the viewpoint of GOD, and start praying with a strong belief that our prayer will be heard and answered. We should know GOD has the right to punish without mercy when there is no desire for sin to be forgiven. That should scare us into action.
