James Henry Clay Galloway, Sr.

A Time to Be Born: On April 8, 1943; in San Saba, Texas, the late Henry Clay and Christena Ola Galloway were blessed with a son, James Henry Clay, affectionately known to his family and friends as "Bubba".

A Time to Learn: James attended school in San Saba, Texas. He graduated from San Saba High School.

A Time to Love: James married Delores Westbrooks on March 25, 1972, and they were blessed with four sons.

A Time to Work: Before James left San Saba, he was employed by the Owen Bros. James was a self-made real estate businessman. James was a very hard working father, always wanting to give his children everything they needed and sometimes, even wanted. He worked in the blue collar industry, security jobs, even construction to make sure his children had all they needed.

A Time of Peace: On Friday, January 11, 2013, James entered into eternal rest. He was "one in a million" and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

A Time to Die: James is preceded in death by his brother, Abraham L. Galloway, sister, Helen Francis Galloway and grandson, Christopher Ratliff Galloway. He leaves to mourn his transition from labor to reward his wife, Delores Galloway; 4 sons, Kenneth Galloway (Gina), James Galloway, Jr., Jackie Galloway (Gelilahe), and Jermaine Galloway (Jessica); 2 sisters, Lydia Johnson (Eddie), Kittie Leota Williams (Elzia); 8 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 1 Godchild, Sheila Baker, and other relatives and friends.
