Carrol D. Turner, 71 years of age, passed away January 31, 2013. He was born October 17, 1941 to Dan and Mavis Brown Turner in San Saba County.

Carrol married Barbara Gatliff and resided in Dallas, TX while raising a family and working in construction. After the passing of his wife Barbara, he married Brenda Brown in Oklahoma and lived out his retirement years in Lamesa, TX. Several days prior to his death, Carrol accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

Carrol is survived by his wife, Brenda; sons, Billy Joe Turner, Coleman, TX and Charles Ross Turner, San Saba, TX; two daughters, Debra Litton, Coleman TX and Marjorie Turner, Coleman, TX; numerous grandchildren; three sisters, Zoda Lawrence, Brady, TX; Marjorie (Brice) Wagner, San Saba, TX and Eva (James) Morgan, San Saba, TX ; two brothers, Connie (Mary) Turner, Houston, TX and Ricky Turner, Lamesa, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Gatliff Turner; one daughter, Donna Coleman and brother, Gerald Turner.
