Dillo Lifters compete in Dublin (1-26-13)
Thursday, January 31, 2013 • Posted January 30, 2013

On Saturday, the San Saba High School Power lifting team competed in the Dublin meet. The team increased in numbers and increased in weight totals from the Lampasas meet, thus showing great improvement. The San Saba Boys team finished 6th out of 17 teams and there were several two and three A teams at this meet. Most weight classes had at least 15 lifters or more in their weight classes. Five boys and all four girls scored points towards the team totals. More than half of our lifters recieived medals. This meet was a highly competitive meet and our lifters should be congratulated on their performances. The Dillo lifters are continually working harder and bettering their totals each and every week and we are extremely proud of their performances. We are extremely proud of our lifters and they should be commended for their performance. We look forward to seeing their improvements on February 7th in the San Saba Power lifting meet.
