The annual Cherokee JH basketball tournament was a success this past Saturday. Thank you to all who volunteered to make it a great event! The Indians beat Lohn to set up a championship game against Lometa. The Indians and Hornets battled to the last second and the Indians won! The Lady Indians lost to Lohn in the first game, but beat Lometa to take 3rd place.

Congratulations to Roddy and Barbara Maddox who celebrated their 50th Anniversary on Saturday. Many former students and players attended their celebration. We wish you many more years of happiness!
