San Saba JV Boys Basketball - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

The San Saba JV boys basketball defeated the DeLeon Bearcats this past Friday night, moving to 3-0 in district play. The Tuesday night JV games against Valley Mills were cancelled due to weather issues.

Against the Bearcats, the boys defensive pressure allowed the Dillos to jump out to an early 10-1 lead. The Dillos won by the final score of 31-13. Scoring for the Dillos: John Faught (6), Holt Oliver (18), John Welch (3), Logan Guidroz (2), and Josh Cazares (2).

This week our high school basketball teams will continue district play with games at Hico on Tuesday, and at Meridian on Friday.
