San Saba Power Lifting Team competes in first meet of the year
Wednesday, January 23, 2013 • Posted January 23, 2013

On Thursday January 17th, the San Saba High School Power Lifting team competed in the Lampasas meet. This was our first meet of the year and we were very proud of the way our lifters competed. Our boy’s team finished fourth out of thirteen teams and our girl’s team finished fifth out of nine teams (we only had three girls lifting). Most of the teams at this meet were 3a and 4a teams. This meet was a highly contested meet and our lifters should be congratulated on their performances. We are extremely proud of our lifters and they should be commended for their hard work and their performance in the meet. We look forward to seeing their improvement on January 26th in the Dublin Power Lifting Meet.
