The San Saba JV boys basketball team had a good week last week. On Tuesday night we hosted the teams from Meridian. San Saba jumped out to a 10-point halftime lead, and finished with a 24 point win, with a final score of 43-19. Scoring for the Armadillos: John Faught (11), Holt Oliver (10), John Welch (10), Yason Aguirre (2), Ridge Smith (2), Josh Cazares (4), and Stone Sealy (4).

On Friday night our teams traveled to Goldthwaite for a matchup with the Eagles for the boys 2nd district game. The JV boys led by as many as 15, but the Eagles made a 4th quarter run. The boys did a good job of handling the pressure, and won by the score of 30-24. Scoring for the Dillos: Faught (2), Oliver (10), Welch (7), Logan Guidroz (5), Cazares (2), Sealy (1), and Aguirre (3).

This week our teams will host Valley Mills on Tuesday, and travel to DeLeon on Friday as we continue in district play.
