Fellowship of Christian Women to hold luncheon January 24th
Thursday, January 17, 2013 • Posted January 16, 2013

Next Thursday, January 24th, Fellowship of Christian will be gathering at the First United Methodist Church downstairs fellowship hall for a Mexican Foods Luncheon. Methodist ladies are making plans and want to give ladies of the county a very special invitation to begin our new year. The luncheon starts at 11:30 a.m. featuring Mexican foods, however, you may bring any dish to share around the serving tables. Ladies in their 30’s will be treated this month. A nursery can be available by phoning Sharon Hayes in advance, so arrangements can be made. Do remember to bring food for your children, if you want them to eat during the luncheon time.

Pastor Dan Harrington has agreed to come that day and share a message he has titled, “Christian Hymns and Stories.”

He was a songwriter before serving the Lord as a pastor. Dan, Maria, and their two children, moved to San Saba several months ago and are enjoying their first pastor ministry. He has served in other churches as Associate pastor and Youth pastor. His grandfather was a Methodist pastor in North Carolina and influenced Dan’s life toward ministry. He wears his grandfather’s robe on special occasions to honor him.

Pastor Dan is gifted playing several musical instruments and continues to write songs. Hope you will make your plans to come next Thursday and bring someone with you for the fellowshipp-ing time and to enjoy Pastor Dan’s sharing thru music.
