Dateline on TV challenged four female roommates to give up their cell phones and electronic devices for two weeks. The women would even text each other as they sat in the same room.

During the time they could not use the phone they actually spoke to each other and actually got to know each other better. The second they got their phones back, they were so mesmerized with the messages that they had missed; the host had to ask them to shut them down to finish the interview.

Do you feel important when the person you are with is on their cell phone?

Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."

We all need time to be still and seek God through His word and through prayer. Will you be still with God?
