Maria Del Refugio Ramos

Maria Del Refugio Ramos, 73, of San Saba, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas. She was born July 4, 1939 in Huapango, Mexico, the daughter of Irineo Trejo and Atilana Rojas Trejo. She loved her garden and her children, having spent a lifetime tending to all.

She is survived by her husband, Yndalecio Ramos of San Saba; twelve children and their spouses: J. Reyes Ramos and his wife, Socorro Ramos, Altagracia Ramos and her husband, Antonio Ramos, Lucia Maldonado and her husband, Rafael Maldonado, Maria Cervantes and her husband, Jose Luis Cervantes, Maria C. Cervantes and her husband, Ignacio Cervantes, Refugio Ramos and his wife, Guadalupe Ramos, Indalecio Ramos and wife, Arsenia Ramos, Leonor Patino and husband, Jose Patino, Floriberto Ramos and his wife, Sandra Sanchez, Carmela Ramos and her husband, Simitrio Ramos, Fernando Ramos and his wife, Alexandria Lopez, Christina Martinez and her husband, Jesus Cervantes; numerous grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister,Teresa Trejo Rojas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Reyes Ramos; a daughter, Cristina Ramos; a granddaughter, Olga Ramos; a great-great-granddaughter, Staphanie Rodriguez; one brother; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in San Saba with Deacon Richard Menchaca officiating. Interment will follow at the San Saba Cemetery.

Visitation was Tuesday, 6:00-8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M.

The family requests that memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 9430 Research Boulevard, Building 2, Suite 150, Austin, TX 78759.

Funeral services under direction of the Blaylock Funeral Chapel, 1205 South High, San Saba, Texas.
