San Saba County Volunteer EMS Needs You

The San Saba County Volunteer EMS is in desperate need of EMT'S (Emergency Medical Technicians) for all hours, day and night. In 2008, the San Saba County Volunteer EMS responded to 740 calls. Based on $560.00 per call, it would have cost the county $414,400.00. When the volunteers are available, they care. The question is, do you? They volunteer because your life depends on it. Help keep these volunteer services alive, and help keep taxes down...volunteer!!!

New San Saba County Volunteer EMS classes will begin in the spring. By joining, you will widen your appreciation about the value and joy of extending help to other people. It will give you great satisfaction once you see a person relieved from his or her sufferings or once you save another persons life.

The San Saba County volunteer EMS will prepare you to make proper decisions, actions and reactions in cases of catastrophe, accidents, injuries, sudden illness, or in any cases where hospital services are delayed or beyond reach. Remember, the only way San Saba county can have a volunteer EMS service, is if people volunteer!
