Jack T. Taff

Jack T. Taff, 84, a lifetime resident of San Saba, Texas, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at his residence in San Saba. He was born November 2, 1928 in San Saba, the son of William T. Taff and Bessie Linn Taff. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict after which time he returned home to farm and ranch.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews: Mary and Jarvis Gossett of San Saba, Debra Taff Watson of San Saba, William T. (Bill) and Debbie Taff of San Saba, John M. and Michelle Taff of Tyler, Darlene and Joe Wilson of New Mexico, Tom and Loretta Miller of Illinois, Patricia and Mark Tarra of Illinois, Paul and Cindy Miller of Illinois, and Mary Ann Miller-Bridges and Gene of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Lee Taff; one sister, Helen Miller; one niece, Maureen Taff Collier; nephews, Stephen David Taff and Kenny Miller and one great niece, Jennifer Watson VanBibber.

The family requests that memorials be made to the San Saba County Volunteer E.M.S.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Saba Cemetery with Rev. Sam Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at the San Saba Cemetery.

Funeral services under direction of the Blaylock Funeral Chapel, 1205 South High, San Saba, TX.
