Due to the demand and success of the first two classes, Wiley B. Murray Post No. 27 of San Saba will host another AARP sponsored driving safety course on Thursday, January 17th. The cost to attend is $12.00 for AARP members and $14.00 for non members. It is designed for drivers 50 years and older. However, all ages are accepted.

The class is four hours long and will be taught at the Senior Center at 705 East Storey in San Saba. Only the first 25 students, first come – first served will be accepted. To register, call 325-372-5833 between the hours of 10 A.M. – 2 P.M. and ask for A.J.

After completion of the class, students will receive a completion certificate which can then be presented to their automobile insurance company. Almost every major insurance company will honor the certificate for a 10% discount. The certificate is good for three years. Contact your insurance company first to see if you qualify. This is NOT a Defensive Driving Class designed for a traffic ticket. If you have any questions about this AARP Class course, call Ron Cebulski, Instructor, (254) 213-0788.

There are two sessions to the class. First session: 9:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M., Lunch: 11:30 A.M. – 1:00 P.M., Second session: 1:00 P.M – 3:00 P.M. During the lunch break, students will be asked to leave the building and obtain the meal on their own. There will be no meal provided.
