It’s Christmas break! I think I’m just as excited as the kids! Our teachers and staff members work so hard and deserve a break. I hope you all enjoy the time you have with your loved ones.

In light of recent events, it’s made me reflect on my choices as an educator and how I would handle difficult situations. I have a newfound respect for those who put themselves in harms way on a daily basis. It makes me appreciate even more the blessing of time that we’ve been given. May we all spend it to the fullest and best of our abilities, honoring the One who has given us time on this Earth.

School will resume on January 7th for teachers. Junior High students will travel to Rochelle for a basketball game that night. Athletes need to be in the gym at 3:30 to warm up. Students return to school on the 8th.
