The weather outside is frightful and should be even worse Thursday night and maybe just maybe some rain on Christmas day. Maybe by the time you read

this Santa Claus will have brought rain for everyone in San Saba County and elsewhere in the state.

Just hope everyone has a safe and happy new year and doesn’t celebrate too much.

There is really no news to report other than LaNell Daniels did have her surgery Wednesday and everything seems to be ok with her.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Grady Gibson, Clay Bradley, Phillip Morris and Jerol Lively who will all be celebrating a birthday December 28, to Brenda Gibson and Charlene Reavis who will celebrate a birthday December 29, to Gunner Stinnett and Danny Lemons who will celebrate a birthday December 31. Tommye Cobern will start the new year off with her birthday January 1.

Congratulations to John and Barbara Bourke who will celebrate an anniversary December 30 and to William and Jane Clark who will start the new year off with their anniversary.

A belated congratulations goes out to Bobby and Debbie Hicks who celebrated their anniversary December 21.
