Several years ago I wrote a Biblical Gem on the Divine and Sacred names of God. It drew a lot of comment and compliments, but despite the information some saw for the first time, it was not the message it should have been because I did not have the understanding of those names that I have recently discovered.. While reviewing the different names of God this week I believe His Spirit gave me a strong message that He wants to be recognized by many different names. The mighty power of God is so awesome it cannot be seen by just a simple name. God wants people to know He has controlling power over every phase and subject that might be seen in life. Therefore He has revealed names to show He is ALMIGHTY and has power over any circumstance people might encounter in this life. I realize I am too small and weak to show what God revealed to me and wants people to know about His sacred names. Despite that fact I hope you will consider all to be written in this effort, and I prayerfully hope it will show our great need to trust the awesome power of God to give blessings and victories over any trouble our flesh life might face. Listed below are some of those names that I hope will prove a blessing to both you and I..

ELOHIM, AS A NAME FOR God that appears in your Bible 2,700 times. It’s first occurrence connects God with the creation and shows Him to be the CREATOR. Elohim actually means God’s only begotten SON as His living Word, which is JESUS CHRIST. JEHOVAH, is the same name for God as Elohim who created all things and denotes He is eternal and has a covenant relationship with all that He created. Although it cannot be explained: Jehovah was before the beginning and will be after the ending. The name Jehovah is combined with other words to form what is known as the Jehovah Titles and they are known as follows:

1. JEHOVAH-JIREH= Jehovah is our provider. Genesis 22:14.

2. JEHOVAH-ROPHEKA =Jehovah, Who heals us. Exodus 15:2 6

3. JEHOVAH-NISSI = Jehovah is our banner. Exodus 17:15

4.JEHOVAH-McKADDIS-HEEM = Jehovah Who sanctifies us. Ex 31:13, Lev 20, Ezek20-12

5. JEHOVAH-SHALOM = Jehovah is God sends peace. JUDGES. 6:24

6. JEHOVAH-ZEBAOTH =Jehovah is the God of hosts. 1Samuel 1:3 & many other places.

7. JEHOVAH-ZENKENU = Jehovah is our righteousness. Jeremiah 23:6, 33:16.

8. JEHOVAH-SHAMMAH = Jehovah is everywhere. Ezekiel 48:35

9. JEHOVAH-ELYON = Jehovah is the most high. Ps.7:17, 47:2, & 97:9.

10.JEHOVAH-RO’I = Jehovah is my shepherd. Ps 23:1
