The SS Homeschoolers enjoyed a day of flexing some mussels with TexDOT’s Andy Blair and TAMU’s Eric Tsakiro, Julie Groce, Mark Cordova, & Melissa Broderic. This very informed group took the time to explain the varieties found in the San Saba River, the habitat best suited for their development, and the process for locating and monitoring the health of the mussels.
