Pictured above are some of the members of the San Saba Junior High and High School Girls Basketball Teams that played in the Summer Basketball League. The league was held in San Saba at Armadillo Arena. Teams from around the area including Cherokee, Richland Springs, Lometa, Brady, Goldthwaite, Llano, and Mason played in three levels consisting of JH , JV& Varsity. Enough money was raised by hosting the league that the girls were able to present a check to the school in the amount of $1,000. Many thanks goes to Oscar Zepeda for organizing the league.
