The San Saba County Chamber of Commerce float sweeps the summer parade season this year - San Saba Rodeo Parade.... “Best of Show” Llano Rodeo Parade.... 1st Place in our Catagory; Richland Springs Stars and Stripes Celebration...1st Place; Lampasas Spring HO....1st Place Out of Town Float; A huge “Thank You” to her “crew” (chamber directors and families) who were always there, up at the crack of dawn and in the heat to pull her to the parades, un-tarp her so she could shine in the parades, re-tarp her so she could travel home to San Saba. Thanks to Rusty, Teresa, Logan, Landry and Levi Glover, Ricky and Kim McKinnerney, Marcia and Steve Dyer and T. Noel Wood, Jr., and of course to our San Saba County Pecan Queen Court, Queen Sara Hedley, Courtney Pryor and Paige Faught, who waved and smiled pretty along the parade routes.
