The San Saba Junior Lady Dillos picked up their 30th win of the season by finishing second at the Summer Heat Tournament held on Saturday, July 14 in Belton. The Lady Dillos defeated Belton 5th Grade 21-3, Belton 6th Grade 17-13 and dropped a tough loss to the eventual tournament champions MP Elite out of Austin, 16-11. The Lady Dillos will be looking for their 31st win of the season as they will take on Brady at 8pm on Thursday, July 19 at Armadillo Arena and they will wrap up the 2012 season with an appearance at the ALM Summer Classic Tournament in Austin on Saturday, July 21. Team members include Dynasty Saldivar, Kirsten Jimenez, Linzey Maxcey, Brenna Chambers, Ashlynn Cash, Hannah Osbourn, Savannah Johnson and Casey Mathis. Newcomers include Analyn Bohensky, Callie Hammett and Courtnee Cash.
