SSHS Spelling Team was 2nd Place but will advance to Regional competition in Odessa as the Wild Card Team for having the Highest Second Place Team score. Team Members are Nickie Ortiz, Lauren Dawson, Hector Paez, Heather Wilcox, and Andrea Jimenez. Heather was 3rd and Lauren was 6th as individual contestants. The team is coached by Deanne Cromer.
