Libby Lasley, of Cherokee ISD, earned her first of hopefully many state medals as she ran an impressive 12:39 and finished in 7th place at the state cross country meet in Round Rock this past Saturday. Libby is the talk of the town and it looks like her dedication to run in the heat of the summer was all worth it! Good job, Libby! We’re so proud of you! Libby, (pictured above) the ever humble medalist, wearing her State cross country medal!
