The Pecan Jam Association, Lynn and Mike McHenry and the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce visited the 2011 Texas State Fair in Dallas to invite everyone to the San Saba River Pecan Jam on October 22, 2011. The Rusty Brothers performed on stage, as well as Chef Terrry Thompson Anderson, doing a Pecan Pie cooking demonstration. Terry is an author of several cookbooks as well as most recent “Texas on a Plate”. Lisa Hood, teacher and humorist was the MC of the event. The Chamber of Commerce presented a beautiful DVD of San Saba on a 42" TV, produced by McKinnerney Real Estate. Marcia and Fern talked about San Saba, non-stop.
