Betty Wilson wins numerous awards...

Betty Wilson wins numerous awards with her hand-quilted entry. Pictured above is Betty Wilson’s prize winning quilt. The quilt placed first in the LARGER THAN 50"X70" HAND QUILTED category at the Extension Education Club’s May Event cultural Arts exhibit. It also won a blue ribbon at the District 7 Extension Education Camp’s Cultural Arts competition and then placed 1

st at the state Texas Extension Education Association Meeting’s Cultural Arts competition in Temple last week. Those present at the state meeting had a chance to vote on a viewer’s choice award. Wilson’s quilt was selected as the 2011 viewer’s choice winner.
