Thursday, August 4, 2011 • Posted August 4, 2011

R. D. "Buddy" Adams (Left) and Keith Shahan (Right) of San Saba Pecan presents Dora Miller, San Saba County Volunteer EMS with a check for $16,000 to assist with the remount project for a badly needed upgraded ambulance. San Saba Pecan, a local business and one of the largest employers in San Saba County, donated $8,000 and matching funds were received from The Chase Foundation in Artesia, New Mexico. These two generous donors combined have assisted the San Saba Volunteer EMS with a total of $50,000 over the past three years. Their focus on our community and its well-being is appreciated, and because they chose to support local projects all the citizens of San Saba County will benefit.
