Local Friends of NRA present check to 4-H

The Friends of the National Rifle Association presented San Saba County 4-H with a check for $5,000 during their annual banquet on June 2

nd. Pictured left to right are: Speedy LaFond (NRAMember), Kenley Kroll (San Saba County Shooting Sports Leader), Ricky Maddox (San Saba County Shooting Sports Leader), Krista Triplett (4-H Parent), Carolyn McDowell (San Saba County Extension Agent), Ron Gerhart (San Saba County 4-H’er) and Jack Cannon, NRA Field Representative. The donation will help San Saba County 4-H purchase some needed equipment to carry out the project. For more information about the shooting sports project please call the Texas AgriLife Extension Office-San Saba County at 372-5416.
