TAYLOR AND OLIVER RECEIVE STATE HONORS - Tony Taylor, coach of the San Saba Lady Dillos was named the 2011 Texas Girls Coaches Association(TCGA) Coach of the Year for divisions A, AA, and AAA. Coach Taylor led the Lady Dillos to Region IAA Championship and their first appearance to the UIL Girls State Basketball Tournament. He has been coaching for 22 years, the last 5 in San Saba. He has won 490 games as a coach, 131 wins with the Lady Dillos. Haylee Oliver, 5-10 senior for the Lady Dillos, started 133 straight games for Coach Taylor, 108 of those games ended in wins. Haylee will get to play for Coach Taylor one more time as he will be the head coach for the TCGA All-Star game which Haylee has been invited to play. Haylee was named to the TCGA All State Team in 2010 and 2011.
