The 2011 Cub Scout Pinewood Derby race was held Saturday, February 12 at the San Saba Civic Center with 22 scouts participating. There were three divisional races; Tiger/Wolf, Bears, and Webelos and a Grand Champion Race. Tiger/Wolf: 1st place - Polo Davila, 2nd place - Mark Anthony Maxcey; Bears: 1st place - Jackson Nelson, 2nd place - Enrique Davila; Webelos: 1st Place - Eduardo Vega, 2nd Place - Matthew Burkhart; Grand Champion Winners: Overall 1st Place - Jackson Nelson, Overall 2nd Place - Polo Davila. Special Categories Certificates were given to Mark Maxcey - Cub Master Award; Cutter Daniels - Most Original Design; and Tommy Galindo - Best Craftsman. All the Cub Scouts did a great job on their derby cars. Pack 55 is very proud of them. Thank you to all the parent volunteers that helped with the race.
