Micheal McKinnerney of the San Saba FFA participated in the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo Calf Scramble during the rodeo on Friday, February 4,2011. He was the first person of the 2011 rodeo season to catch a calf, and the first to get his calf across the finish line. Micheal will receive a $1,000 certificate to purchase a breeding animal to take back to the 2012 San Antonio Livestock Show donated by Chuck’s Trucking of New Braunfels Texas. Following the rodeo Micheal and his family enjoyed an outstanding concert by Toby Keith. Micheal will also be participating in the Calf Scramble at the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo on February 19th with a chance at a $1,000 scholarship and more money for the purchase of animals to participate at next years show.
