Another week without rain. A couple of days in the 70’s and then bingo back down to the low 50’s, and from all the weather news it looks like some more of the same for this week. We could be thankful that we didn’t have eleven inches of snow that some had up north, but it is moisture which is more than what we can say around here.
Jerome and Shirley Meischen returned home last week from Phoenix, Arizona where they attended the Texas and Ohio football game at the Fiesta Bowl.
Jerome and Shirley drove to Phoenix, but the other family members flew out. A total of eleven family members was there to cheer for the Longhorns and especially their grandson Blake Gideon.
They were all afraid that up until the very last few minutes of the game that it would be a sad trip home, but as it turned out the Longhorns came out the big winner.
They reported that all the players played a good game and that the Ohio team was very friendly.
Next year they are looking forward to the Longhorns to be in the B.C.S. Championship game.
Patsy Henniger and Jo Price have started back to Weight Watchers to try and lose all the weight that might have been gained over November and December.
