Local school trustees work tirelessly and devote countless hours to empower students to excel. January has been set aside as a special time for communities to say thanks to board members for caring so much about the future of every child enrolled in our public schools.

The staff and students at Richland Springs will help prepare an appreciation meal for our board members prior to the January 19th board meeting. A heartfelt thanks to Pres. Barry Fikes, V. Pres. Thurman Saxon, Secretary Micah Shaw, Kay McKee, Jason Lewis, Sally Gossett, and Tina Poe.

Thanks to Mr. McKee for taking the time and effort to prepare FFA, 4H, and ag students to be successful in the stock show this year.
