Shiny new bicycles were given to 10 fourth grade students for winning first place at their schools in the “Street Safety Poster” contest.

This contest is sponsored each year by Central Texas Telephone Cooperative for the schools in the Cooperative’s service area. The schools that participated are Cherokee, Richland Springs, San Saba, Goldthwaite, Mullin, Priddy, Star, Evant, Lohn, and Rochelle.

This year the first place winners from San Saba County are: Abigail Ingram from San Saba; Torri Morrison from Cherokee, and Jordan Gossett from Richland Springs.
