Ladies at Parkview Baptist Church invite the ladies of San Saba County to the first luncheon of 2009 for Fellowship of Christian Women.

They are planning a Winter Recipes Ladies Choice luncheon to begin at 11:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall. The church is located on Hwy. 190. Ladies in their 80’s and 90’s will be treated next Thursday January 22nd. If you would like a nursery to be available, please phone Sharon Hayes, in advance for arrangements to be made. We are delighted to announce to all of you our first speaker will be coming to us from San Angelo and highly recommended.

He is a District Lay Speaker for the Methodist area, and plans to share with us about ministries, such as Miracle on 18th Street in San Angelo for the homeless. Another one is called “I believe in Jesus” based on Matthew 25. Mr. Ralph Thompson is making his plans to be with us that day and we hope you will make your plans to find a Winter Recipe to share around the serving tables, and then enjoy this dynamic speaker.
