Chris Pappas, center, recently retired as bookkeeper for the San Saba Soil & Water Conservation District after 19 years of service. Chris was honored with a retirement luncheon and was presented a plaque on December 31st. Presenting the plaque to Chris is C.K. Stevenson, Chairman of the District and Mitchell Schroeder, District Conservationist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service.
