On November 2nd & 3rd and after two rounds of cowhorse, pleasure, reining, and trail competitions, Roy Fischer earned the title, WESTERN HORSEMAN WORLD STOCK HORSE OF TEXAS NOVICE CHAMPION for 2012. He was presented a buckle and a plaque for his recognition. Also, after 11 shows, Roy is the STOCK HORSE OF TEXAS NOVICE CHAMPION for 2012.

Due to the demand and success of the first two classes, Wiley B. Murray Post No. 27 of San Saba will host another AARP sponsored driving safety course on Thursday, January 17th. The cost to attend is $12.00 for AARP members and $14.00 for non members. It is designed for drivers 50 years and older.

The Board of Trustees of San Saba ISD held a Regular Meeting on Thursday, December 13th at 6:00 p.m. in the Central Administration office.
