Galatians 1:10; "Do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For yet if I please men, I should not be the servant of Christ."
I have never written a Biblical Gem without choosing a scripture for the basic thoughts to follow, and when I began to search for a scripture to write this message, the above verse is the first thing I saw when I opened my Bible.

Hello my dear friends and I am banking on having friends out there because I am in so much trouble! When last we spoke I was typing from mom’s closet and she was waiting to have surgery on her ankle. She has since had the surgery, it went well and got to come home the very same day.

Can you Freeze Fresh meats in Supermarket Wrappings?
Unless you’ll use the frozen meat or poultry in a month or two, the U.S. Department of Agriculture recommends that you add a second wrapping for long-term storage. Overwrap with airtight heavy-duty freezer foil, freezer paper or place the package inside a freezer bag.

Last week I did something that I have not done since I moved to Cherokee. Three of us (John Clark, Garland Cross and myself) all spent the night fishing on Lake Travis. We caught ten fish all together so it was a productive evening.
While sitting there I had several thoughts that came to my mind.

I was sitting in the car while my wife went into the grocery store to pick up a few items and while waiting I saw the cutest scene. It was a young man and his little, maybe 3 yr old, son. They were dressed alike, blue jeans, tee-shirts, tennis shoes, and matching baseball caps.

My whole week has been focused on getting Glen ready to go to big boy school. I feel almost as stressed as I did when my eldest son Scott joined the Air Force straight out of high school. All we mothers know that no one takes care of our darlings as well as we do.
