Wabbit season! Duck season! Wabbit season! Duck season! Wabbit season, “shoot him now!” I always adored Looney Tunes and felt a real kinship with both the name Looney and Daffy. (okay guys, you can stop nodding your heads in the affirmative anytime) I inherited my love of cartoons from my dad and I adored that a man who could speak three languages, play the violin and compose classical music could also belly laugh at Elmer Fudd, Bugs Bunny, The Road Runner, and Daffy Duck.

Our relationship to God cannot grow and thrive apart from reading the Bible and hearing it taught. 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” In the Bible, God tells us who He is, who we are, and how we are to live.

The rascal hit him again.Clenching his fist, the ex-boxer said, "The Lord didn't give any further instructions." Smack! He hit the man, but missed the point. The child of God should consider his responsibilities, not his rights.

Advanced technology enhances communication. We can crunch data and make calculations heretofore thought impossible. Men went to the moon with computers far less powerful that today’s average desktop or laptop. Where will we go next? What will we do for an encore? Increased knowledge in medicine pushes back boundaries. Cures for disease become possible as well as replacement body parts.
