My kite had a thin string that came with it. After being up in the air for a few minutes the string broke and the kite flew away.

Charity and community involvement were priorities during this period. The minutes detail many collections and contributions made to storm and flood victims in other states, relief for tuberculosis sufferers and their families, and of course generous assistance to the Masonic widows and orphans of Texas. Prosperity was such that on March 1927, the lodge voted to make all of their members 70 years of age or older, life members.

The wind has been like it should be March instead of April. Hope everyone made it through April Fools Day without any mishaps or jokes. The need for rain is becoming more desperate with each passing day. What little moisture there is being dried out by all the wind. The livestock are having to hunt for every blade of grass and ranchers are having to feed hay
to keep up.

I know the year is going really quickly, but can anyone tell me what happened to spring? More importantly, what happened to the spring rains! I can only imagine what is happening to the spring crops. We haven’t had enough rain to wet a blade of grass, much less grow a crop.
