I like to read mystery novels. All through the book you are introduced to different characters, any one of whom may be the culprit. Just when you think you have it figured out, a new twist is thrown in and now you are not sure who "done" it. Life is like that, isn’t it?

A couple of my favorite television shows are "House" and "Bones." The title characters in each of these shows are very highly educated, very intellectual people. Both of them are basically atheists. House is a cynic who believes that faith, love, or any other tender human emotion are just signs of weakness.

Napoleon went to Egypt to wage a campaign. When he came home, he was faced by an alliance of four countries that was about to destroy him. He recruited 40,000 men and met the enemy at Marengo, Italy. The battle went against him. "It is lost!" cried an officer. "Yes," said Napoleon, "but there's time to win another." Inspired by his faith and courage, they fought and won. You may have lost battles with Satan and sin.

The number of drivers and passengers who use seat belts has been climbing nationwide, according to statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and "Click It or Ticket" campaigns. National seat belt use has jumped from 58 percent in 1994 to 84 percent in 2009, due in large part to high-profile campaigns and enforcement.
