As the Sunset Limited was speeding to its destination, a baby was born. "What will you call him?" asked a reporter.
"Choo Choo," answered the mother.
Another baby was born in unusual circumstances, not in a stylish home, but a stable.
He chose His own mother, and He didn't have a father. He was born without sin.

An old hymn intones, "Only believe. Only believe. All things are possible. Only believe." Wait. At the end of empty faith there are empty dreams. Faith that is worthy of the name always has an object. People believe in someone or something, even if it’s themselves.
The faith of the Bible is never empty.

Anyhow, If you happen to finish this week’s column and remark that we didn’t have a whole lot to talk about, then I’d probably have to agree with you.

My son has always been an honor roll student and played sports (many of them). Now he is 13 and is becoming lazy about homework, doesn’t want to spend time with our family and only cares about playing video games at his friend’s house. When I ask him to do chores or homework he argues with me, gets mad, and sometimes lies and says he doesn’t have any homework just so he can go to his friend’s house.
