Revelations 22:3-4 "And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it and His servants shall serve Him: And they shall see His face: and His name shall be in their foreheads." The first chickens I ever had was when I was five years old and lived in Enterprise, Alabama. There was an old barn next to our house and my parents decided to get some bantam chickens to live in that barn. My grandfather in Tennessee always had chickens and I would help him gather eggs, so I was around chickens since I can remember. Since I have been an adult, I have had at least a few chickens every time I have been fortunate enough to live in the country.

A boy was leaving Ireland for the United States. His father said, "Pat, my boy, remember three bones and you'll come out all right." "What three?" he asked. "The wishbone keeps you going after things, and we use the jawbone to pray for things, but we don't use the backbone and keep at it until the answer comes. Whatever may be the delays and disappointments, don't stop praying. The Living Bible says, "Keep praying until the answer comes."

A big cloud passed over the Bend Friday night leaving 3/10 of an inch. Everyone could have used some more, but was happy with what fell. Late Saturday it looked like it might do something, but all that happened was a big clap of thunder and the clouds moved East of Bend toward Lampasas. We did have a few spotted showers around the County this past weekend with some folks measuring around ¼ of an inch, while some other folks got about 4 inches of lightening & thunder.
