Ron Wyatt who God permitted to make these discoveries has since died, but while on his death bed, he was interviewed and said he knew the real reason the Israeli government sealed the find. He said he was told so many young Jews would revolt their religion and convert to Christianity; it would cause total collapse of the Israeli government.

"Steamroll": to crush or dismiss anyone or anything that might stand in the way; to move something forward in an aggressive way that does not tolerate opposition.
To push through their health care agenda, the Congressional Democratic leadership has resorted to extraordinarily aggressive tactics. Despite the American people’s overwhelming opposition, President Barack Obama, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid have chosen to st ...

Health Professionals for several years have been advising Americans to eat less fat, sugar, salt and to eat more fiber. The USDA’s MyPyramide.gov website based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans (2005) reflects these guidelines. Perhaps a change to some cooking methods may be in order.
Modifying or changing a recipe can produce a product that doesn’t meet traditional expectations.

Change is the word of the day or perhaps even the year. But change what, why and how?
Change for the mere sake of change can be meaningless and sometimes destructive. Without a defined purpose, change is a hollow word. One definition of change means to become different. It doesn't specify whether the difference will be for better or worse.
This is probably why some say beware of change simply for the sake of change.

Recently the children’s home went to Brady for a few days on a retreat and the game of hockey was played. Fortunately, we were not on ice or roller blades and injuries were kept to a minimum. Lea Jenkel, Howard and Carmen’s niece, tripped (or was tripped), and fell on the concrete and hurt her knee but has recovered nicely.
One of the rules of this game was, that a player was not allowed to bring the hockey stick above his/her waist.

American Lion, Andrew Jackson in the White House, Jon Meacham
Andrew Jackson created the modern American presidency as we know it today. A backwoods orphan who fought his way to the pinnacle of power, Jackson ushered in a new era in which the people, not distant elites, were the guiding force in American politics.

Last year Count Desmond of Mobile, Alabama swallowed seven swords.
The blades, coated with ammonia window cleaner, were between 23 and 26 inches long.
But there's a more pleasurable and profitable exercise than that. The Bible says, "Take the sword of the Spirit-which is the Word of God."
Take it as your power for conflict, your preservative from evil, your premium for victory.
Our Lord took it and with it He defeated the devil.

The weather has been really great, some wind, but nice and comfortable outside. There seems to always be that dreaded Easter freeze, but maybe this year will come and go without the drastic freeze we have had in the past. The mesquites and the pecan trees haven’t leafed out and until they do things can still get bad.
The first humming bird was spotted Monday at noon.

If memory serves, and often it doesn’t, the question was first posed to open TV newscasts. With piercing eyes and a facial expression as serious as a tax audit, the announcer slowly repeated these words: "It’s ten o’clock….Do you know where your children are?"
In those days, most parents smiled knowingly, confident that their answer was a no-brainer.

I’m sitting here at the window watching the sun sink to the horizon. The wind is blowing plastic bottles over the yard, so I can only presume that my recycle bin has blown over. The Oak tufts are feathering out. They look like little green cotton ball tufts on bare brown branches.Maxine Robbins told me if it blows in March, it will be calm in April and May.

It started on December 7, 1941 when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor. The war in the Pacific raged until August 14, 1945 when the Japanese accepted an unconditional surrender. There were over 60 million people killed during World War 11 and of that 60 million 22 to 25 million were soldiers and it was one of the bloodiest battles in history.

What a beautiful week we have had so far. I have been really looking forward to some real sunshine and man has it been nice. Yet living in Texas I have learned one thing, if you don't like the weather wait about 30 minutes and it will change, so I'm ready for the snow.
Just want to remind everyone that those school zones are not an area that you want to be daydreaming in.

It’s the middle of the night and your phone rings. Your dog has gotten out and was hit by a car. What do you do? When our kids or our significant other gets sick or hurt we have a pretty good idea of how to take care of them. Unfortunately, most people are not prepared to handle these occurrences in our pets.
To help pet owners deal with emergency situations, April has been designated as National Pet First Aid Awareness Month.
