God wrote a book and we should read it, for just one look, will prove we need it.
It is filled with truths that will reveal our Saviour, and help us to choose a straightened behavior.
It gives strength and wisdom to eliminate prideful temptation, to let us make every decision from righteous meditation.
It shows God's wonderful plan and His Virgin Born, as foretold, to save sinful man from losing his soul.
It teaches God's sacrificial Lamb had no spot or blemish, when tried, wherein, the Lor ...

I have heard for most of my life that there has never been a tornado in San Saba County and there never will be one……but you know…..
A tornado is a rapidly spinning, fast-moving, funnel-shaped cloud. Most tornadoes occur during late spring and summer, in late afternoon. But they CAN strike anywhere, at any time.
Is it a watch or a warning?
· A tornado watch means there is the possibility of a tornado in the area.
· A tornado warning means a tornado HAS BEEN sighted.

Recently we were reminded again of the frailty of life. Elizabeth Austermann was riding her horse and was evidently thrown from it and died as a result. She was 13 years of age. As a community that shares a common bond, we grieve with Elizabeth’s family.
She was an energetic young lady with a zest for life and a belief in the God in heaven.

Reading Recommendations: Big Thicket People.
Living off the land-hunting, fishing, and farming, along with a range of specialized crafts that provided barter or cash income, was a way of life that persisted well into the twentieth century in the Big Thicket of Southeast Texas. Before this way of life ended with World War II, professional photographer Larry Jene Fisher spent a decade between the 1930's and 1940's photographing Big Thicket people living and working in the old ways.

When God created the world and then made the first man Adam, (Genesis 2:7) He realized that Adam was not complete or that he lacked something, so God created a helper or a helpmate, it could be translated a counterpart. It was the first woman, (Genesis 2:18-25) they are fully equal before God but each with unique and different roles.

There are a lot of public prayers. “Oh, God,” cries a mother. Her child is badly hurt. Does that same mother pray in private? Look at what Jesus tells us, “But you, when you pray, go into your inner room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who is in secret will repay you” (Matthew 6:6).
Do you have a walk-in closet in your bedroom?

Praise God we have had more rain! My eyes are loving all that green! Barry described our landscape a few weeks ago as a brown moonscape with cow patties dotting the “scape”. I totally agree with that view but now, we have lush green, the spring flowers are adding their dash of color and we just look great!
