Newly released physical activity guidelines may be the roadmap to better health for you and your family. Despite increased evidence that physical activity is a critical part of a healthy lifestyle, surveys show that few Americans have increased their activity levels in decades. This reality has contributed to the increased weight and associated healthcare problems our society has witnessed.

Last week my wife and I were cruising the Gulf of Mexico. We left on Thursday afternoon and returned on Monday morning. The water was very choppy and the ship that we were on rocked back and forth. Fortunately, none of us were very sick, but there were a number of people who were not able to get out of their cabins because they were so ill.

If you might have been waiting for a cold spell from a really “good” Norther, then I think you might have finally gotten your wish. At this writing, we are not quite sure as to how much moisture is included with this front, but any is certainly welcome. We dislike the fact of this type of weather being so hard on all the livestock, but maybe the precipitation will make it worthwhile in the long run.

It happened last week and it is estimated that more than 1,400,000 people attended even though it was very cold. It was the inauguration of our 44th president.
I was not there but I watched it on the Television. As you looked away from the inaugural stand all you could see was wall to wall people.

Inhalants are volatile substances that produce chemical vapors that can be inhaled through the nose or mouth to induce a psychoactive, or mind-altering, effect. Although other abused substances can be inhaled, the term “inhalants” is used to describe a variety of substances whose main characteristic is that they are rarely, if ever, taken by any route other than inhalation.
