Glynis Shaw

Glynis Shaw passed away March 18, 2024. He had been sick for years and the last six months was in and out of the hospital and nursing homes fighting many health issues.

Glynis is survived by his son, J.R. Shaw; daughter, Jessyca Shaw Jackson; daughter-in-law, Lindsay Shaw; son-in-law, Brionne Jackson; grandson, Weston Shaw; and his brothers, Jarvis and Travis Shaw.

Glynis was born in San Saba, Texas, on September 14, 1955, to J.R. Shaw and Alice Geneva Sparkman.

Glynis worked most of his life at Golding Motors in San Saba. He loved going to church, fishing, spending time at the cafés in Cherokee and San Saba visiting with friends. He enjoyed the small town life. He loved cooking for his family and being outside on the grill, listening to music and most of all being a Texan. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

Glynis’ wishes were to be cremated and scattered by his children and grandson at the Regency Bridge outside of San Saba.
